Shopping @ Parkway Parade

Today we went to Parkway Parade again for shopping! Shopping would have been easier without Chloe. This naughty Chloe always want me to carry her, she don't want to walk by herself anymore. And, she don't even want her daddy to carry her. Sigh!!!

We walked awhile and decide to go and have early dinner so it won't be that crowded. We planned to go to hawker centre to eat but Chloe saw MacDonalds and wanted to go Mac. We got no choice but to go Mac for dinner. I decided to have Fillet-O-Fish meal with Ice Milo. Hubby went to take orders and came back very fast with nothing on his hands. He said they ran out of fries, it will be replaced with hashbrown. Then suddenly we heard a boy said very loud, "Sorry but I didn't order BigMac burger". The Mac staff replied, "Oh, inside is actually McSpicy burger. We ran out of the McSpicy box so we used BigMac box."

What a MacDonalds! Everything also ran out. But I feel that replacing fries with hashbrown is really not worth it. Hashbrown costs $1.60 whereas fries costs $2.30(Med) $2.60(Large).

Back to square one, went back to hawker and find seats. And after that we continued our shopping at Parkway Parade. We bought quite a number of things. Hehee... :D

WJ's Last Day

Sad but also happy for WJ that he's leaving. Sad because he's the only guy colleague whom I can really chat with. Happy because I feel that he will be able to find a better job outside. Well, sometimes it might be a blessing in disguise if you ain't given a choice to decide.

We gave him a farewell treat on 25th. Glad that he like the ramen :) And we took photos together as requested by him. Waiting for another colleague to pass me the photos so I can upload it here :) And as like the normal last day procedure, he gave out chocolates to us. In my company there's this trend, to give out chocolates during that person's last day. I wonder who started the trend first. :P

There's some candid shots which I would like to share..
- checkout my million hands and spirited away movement..hahaha

Children's Day Celebration (Part 2)

I bought this Jell-O from Cold Storage which cost me $2.90. But Chloe doesn't like it, I think cos when I gave her some for sampling, it's too cold. I tried to give her somemore but she rejected me. Overall I find the taste quite nice. It's like those jelly crystal but it's abit harder as compared to the jelly crystal.

Since it's meant for the kids to eat, I packed their share into 4 small containers. I wonder the rest of the kids will like it anot. I brought it to the childcare today, see if I received any feedbacks at the end of today :)

Isetan Private Sale

Today I went to the Isetan Private Sale with Jinmei and her Vincent. As we went there after work, it's already very packed with people. Lots and lots of people. I had no mood to walk around and see what I want to buy. I only bought stuffs which I plan to buy. I bought 2 skincare products from Clains since there's less 20%.

I was at the Clarins counter looking around and there's this lady who stand beside me. We happen to reach out our hands for something, luckily something different. But her hands reach the product first whereas my hands haven't even touch the product and suddenly alot of the products dropped onto the floor. Somehow that lady had caused the products to drop while reaching for 1 particular product. Being kind, I helped her to pick up some of the products. But she just stood there and look at me. She tot I'm the one who made the things dropped. I was very pissed off and can't be bothered to pick up the rest of the products. She kept staring at me and the products on the floor, again and again. I was so angry and walked off.
"Hao xin mei hao bao"!

Anyway I paid for my stuffs and went to collect the products from Clarins. After that I went to the voucher redemption counter to redeem the 10% rebate voucher. And I finally get to see Cynthia's real person. She couldn't really recongise me. I don't know why also..hahaaa.. maybe I always see her pixs on her blog so I can recongise her. It's a pity we can't chat much cos she was very busy and I need to rush to MOS burger to meet Jinmei and Vincent.

After our late dinner at MOS, we went to the Isetan supermarket and then headed our way home.

Children's Day Celebration

I received a slip from the childcare asking me to make jellies for the childcare kids on the 29th Sep. Never expect that I need to contribute something for the Children's Day. But...they ask me to make jellies for 4 kids... abit miserable right? The teachers at the childcare told me I can buy the jellies, no need to DIY. I don't think I can make Konnyaku for the kids cos I feel it's abit hard for them to chew. Maybe I'll make those crystal jellies if time permits.

New Look!

Finally change my blog template! Though it's not a very nice template/skin, I find that it's simple and neat. And this time round I have added the cbox so that you my friends can leave me a msg anytime. Hmmm.. if I come across any nicer template/skin i will change again. :D I have been searching hard for a suitable template/skin for Chloe's blog but it's so hard to find. I don't want too cartoon, too dull, too simple.. ermmm... actually not sure what I want leh.

Makansutra @ Esplanade

After the bird park we proceed to Esplanade to meet Jinmei, Meow and Serene for dinner. Serene is back from US! It's been 1yr+ I see her. She looked the same as before, still as skinny. She bought me a Casino Chip keychain from Las Vegas. Hope it will bring my good luck! Serene get to eat her some of her favourite food at sg.

We wanted to go karaoke at MS KBox but it's too expensive! Each pax $30 for 3hours. "Kill people set fire" mann.. End up we went to Toa Payoh Safra for karaoke cos it's much cheaper than KBox. It's called BBox..hahaa.. abit copycat one la :P

Chloe finally get to sing at karaoke. Ehhh.. of course we don't know what she's singing.. but she find it fun that her voice become so much louder. She KO at 11+, sleeping away in the noisy karaoke room. We went off at 12+ almost 1am and headed home. I do hope we can meetup again before Serene goes back to US in about 2wks time.

Jurong Bird Park

Straight after my haircut and rebonding, I quickly rush home to pack abit of stuffs and headed to the Jurong Bird Park. My last trip to Bird Park was when I was in Primary School, so long long ago! We reach there at around 3pm, Shandy (hubby's cousin) and her family members have already reach there, they are watching the "Birds 'n Buddies Show". After that we went for the "Birds of Prey Show" which I find very interesting and exciting. The birds fly really very close to us and we are so scared, need to lower down our head. Chloe kept patting her chest..haha..:P

It's really quite an experience, if there's a chance I will go there again. :)

Haircut & Rebonding

Finally went for a haircut and rebonding! My last haircut was in March06, last rebonding was Apr05. Always wanted to perm my hair but I scare it's hard to manage and scare I will look older :P Trimmed and layered alot this time, can't tie my hair up at all. The whole process took about 5.5hrs.. sit under backside pain mann!

Well, I'm thinking of colouring my hair for CNY...still 5 more months to go. :D

Sentosa Trip

Despite Chloe's fever on Thursday, we still proceed on with our Sentosa Trip on Saturday. Chloe has already recovered, and I see that the weather is quite good, cloudy (which means not too hot, not raining also) so decide to proceed on with the trip. We reach Sentosa at almost 3pm, waited for Dawne to reach and went to the Palawan Amphitheatre to catch the Parrot show.

After that it's beach time! I really regret not wearing proper beachwear... I'm almost all wet, all thanks to Chloe. She really enjoyed the water! I'm very scare of letting her hands off partly because the geomancer (who choose Chloe's chinese name) said have to be very careful with water (as in swimming pool, beach etc) till the age of 3 or 5. I rather believe than be sorry :P We wanted to wash up Chloe and head on to the next destination but Chloe still want to play. So while we are washing up, she's there crying and crying. After that I carried her and pat pat her until she fell asleep.

There's Koufu foodcourt at the Palawan Beach. The dessert are selling at $1.70, I guess it's normal foodcourt price, not expensive. I would expect the prices to be slightly more expensive since we are at Sentosa. Anyway we found a table and sit down, happily eating the bread with egg mayonnaise and sugar roll, didn't order anything from the foodcourt :P

Next stop we went to the Musical Fountain to catch the Magical Sentosa. I was so disappointed with the Magical Sentosa show! It's totally not nice at all. We found a seat before 7pm, the show started at 740 and ended around 820. We waited so long but end up the show is not nice at all.

We left Sentosa after this and went to Marina Square for dinner. Have you ever step into a sushi restaurant and ordered 4 chawanmushi & 4 ice lemon tea only? That's what we ordered..hahaa.. Me and Lili craved for MacDonalds ice cream cone so after that we went mac to eat. I ordered happy meal for Freeman and Chloe. Sit there and hang around until 11pm+ and headed our way home. It's a tiring but enjoyable day. I look forward to my next Sentosa trip. Perhaps can bring Chloe to the Underwater World & Dolphin Lagoon. :)
