Ah Balling Peanut Soup
Today after dinner we went down all the way to Chinatown to have the peanut soup & dumpling. This is one of my favourite peanut soup & dumpling stall.. black sesame dumplings *drooling*
Korean Drama DVD
Bought 2 set of Korean Drama DVDs, Princess Hour & Sassy Girl, Chun-Hyang. I didn't get to watch the Princess Hour which is now showing @ Channel U, and my hubby seems to be hooked with this show, so I asked him to buy so that we can watch together. :P
As for Sassy Girl, we don't have the intention to buy, but since there's promotion, buy 2 set of DVDs @ $50 (original price was 1 set @ $29.90), we bought 2 sets. We are not very into Korean drama, so I ask the sales assistant for recommendation on comedy drama. And he recommend me Sassy Girl. My first thought was to share with Eileen what I bought so I can lend her the DVD. Who knows she already bought Sassy Girl. Too bad!
Lunch @ Sakae Sushi
Today me and Dawne went to Sakae Sushi for lunch. They changed their menu, looks pretty nice (as compared to the old one). Now they have 3 types of Chawamushi, erm can't remember what now. Anyway we had the "normal" type of Chawamushi. And we had Nabemono. My first time having Nabemono, the one at Sakae wasn't tasty at all. The dofu is sour, and Dawne told me it's sour after she swallowed down that piece of dofu. I smell the dofu I can tell it's sour. Yucks!
Moving House
Today went to attend hubby's cousin's son baby shower. MIL wasn't feeling well so only FIL went. BIL is moving house today so not attending as well. I went to ask my MIL how come BIL never invite them to his house since he's moving house today. MIL said they choose a weird timing to move in, 12am. Har?? 12AM, it's really a weird timing. So they left their baby with my MIL and took a cab to their new house. They move in at 12AM because of some supertitious beliefs, which I never heard before :P
Don Pie for lunch
Meetup with Dawne and Lili for lunch today. We went to have Don Pie. We ordered 1 whole chicken pie and request them to slice into 3 pieces. The slice of pie I had consists of 2 1/2eggs. I think it's too much for me, as I eat, I felt like puking. Dawne and Lili has finished their share whereas I'm struggling hard to finish mine. Don't know is it becos normally I will order only 1/4 pie, and now i'm eating 1/3 pie. Yeeekss.
Meow's Bdae
Today is Meow's birthday. The 4 of us (plus Little Chloe) have arranged to meet up together for dinner. With our working life we hardly get the chance to meetup, plus Serene is at US. Right now, Serene has came back to sg to attend her brother's wedding. So it's really a rare chance for us to meetup.
We had buffet dinner at Sakae Sushi, which I didn't get to eat much (I wasn't hungry also) because of Chloe. She find boring to sit there and eat for long. After that we went to TCC to get a slice of cake for meow, since all of us was still very full after the dinner. Chloe found the candle interesting and when Meow blow out the candle, chloe was like OEI... :P. We bought Meow a Casio watch, which she wanted to buy it next month. Well now we bought it for her, she can saved the money for other things!
