Taipei Trip Day 3

Chloe simply loves the bathtub, cos she get to play with water! See the way she play with water, really enjoyed herself alot :).

淡水
As like the day before, we proceed to 淡水 by MRT. I like their MRT toilets cos it's so clean and most of the stations have alot of cubicles. So everytime we are at the mrt station we will go pay the toilet a visit, in case we can't find a clean toilet outside.
淡水 is a sea-side town which is popular for viewing the sun setting. There's alot of small shops selling food, and those mini arcade. Chloe is very happy cos there's alot those car rides. Eileen bought bbq squid and fried mushroom. The bbq squid is very delicious. And we had the plum juice which is very nice too. We saw alot of shops selling the long long ice cream, so we gave it a try. Erm, I would say MacDonalds 50cents ice cream is much nicer than this. This ice cream has no milk taste.

We stopped by at 阿給 restaurant. Wah it's so crowded. The restaurant is 3 storey high and the stairs were so narrow. We have to place our order thru the paper provided and pay them in advance. Though it was crowded, we didn't have to wait too long for the food to come. There's this dish called 阿給 which is made of dofu skin on the outside and inside is some dong fen, accompanied with sweet sauce.

After that we took a boat ride to 漁人碼頭, costing us 100NT each. When we went to board the boat, the person said we need to buy a ticket for Chloe as well, as a form of insurance (cos the ticket is inclusive of insurance). But end up the person told me to pay them 25NT and when we want to take the boat back to 淡水 then I have to buy the ticket for Chloe. The place is very windy.

Eileen told me that sometimes when an artist cut an new album, they will hold a mini concert over at
漁人碼頭. Too bad, I didn't see any famous artist :P

士林夜市
士林夜市 is even bigger than 五分埔! I guess 士林夜市 is one of the places youngsters would like to come and shop for clothes etc. The clothes here are quite trendy and some are not cheap. I really had to carry Chloe throughout the whole trip there cos it's too crowded. Only managed to buy a pair of boots for Chloe which I find it's cheap and cute :D

And how can we missed out the super big CHICKEN CHOP from 士林夜市? There's about 20 people queuing up for the chicken chop, but we didn't need to wait long. Chloe loved the chicken chop and kept saying "I want! I want!".

It was too crowded until I feel that it's time for us to head back home. We went to a restaurant nearby Eileen's apartment and had our dinner there. At almost 11pm, TL is back from SG. Tomorrow he will be touring with us. End of Day 3. :P
