It's CNY! Time to give angbaos again. As my mil went for operation during end January, she couldn't go out and bai nian. And my fil need to stay at home and take care of her. So this year we got to represent them to go some of those BIG relatives house to bai nian. These relatives are BIG becos they are fil's elders and they are rich, staying at private houses located at Kembangan.]

Our initial plan: Mil house -> Dua Kor house -> Ah Peh house -> My grandma house

As hubby wanted to meet his closer cousins to go to relative house together, we end up with this plan at the very last minute.

Dua Kor house -> Ah Peh house -> Mil house -> My grandma house

Mil wanted us to long bang bil and his family to go bai nian as well, but due to the last minute change of plan, we didn't long bang them. Mil said they will go on their own.. let's see...

We went to "Dua Kor" (fil's elder sister) house, and their house is parked with 6 cars. The most "low class" car is Mitsubishi Lancer, and of cos the most "high class" cars will be Mercedes. Da Gu's kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren are there. As we only see them once a year, they hardly recongise us. My hubby's cousin, who is 15 or 20yrs older than him, asked who is he, looked familiar but can't recalled. OMG, cousin also cannot recongise, let alone those who are younger than my hubby. Since it's such a big group of them, my hubby didn't go around distributing angbaos to them. But with so many people around, I guess they didn't know we din give angbaos at all :P Chloe sat at the sofa, and those people just give her angbaos and she was happily taking 1 angbao after another. Hubby told me before that though his relatives are rich, some are very stingy. I opened some of the angbaos while we were on the way to "Ah Peh" (fil's elder brother) house. Arghhh.. I saw one with $2 inside... nowadays still got $2??? I thought $4 is the minimum already.

After finished visiting Dua Peh house we went to mil house and I asked Chloe to take 2 oranges to fil and 2 oranges to mil. Luckily she was cooperative. Waited for bil to come so that we can give angbao to Jinlong nephew. They reached at 3+, which Chloe has already KO. They didn't go bai nian, mil say no car not convenient, still got 1 kid and sil is pregnant. All the rubbish la, we got car, then we always can do everything, but bil can't.

Proceed to my grandma house, which is also the last destination of the day. Normally we will gather around and play cards together, but with Chloe around it's very hard. This Chloe still bring 1 $1 coin & 2 50 cents coin in her bag. When she see hubby sit there and gamble, she took out her money and want to play as well.

Nothing much at my grandma house, but there's 1 incident which really pissed me off. My 7th Aunt has 3 daughters, and we really get to see them once a year. Normally they will just come, take angbaos and left my grandma house within an hr. When I reached, I go around distributing the angbaos, I use different angbaos to differentiate different amount. :P For them I just bao $4 each, anyway I already lugi alot, cos my aunty bao Chloe $4. The rest of my cousins I bao slightly more. Then I realised, shortly after I distribute the angbaos, 2 of the daughters left. Left so quietly and silently again!
