Gynae checked my cervix, I was 3cm open. It really hurts when he was checking my cervix for me, I couldn't relax as I felt it was painful. How come I didn't feel that painful during Chloe's time? He burst my waterbag and ask the midwife to put me on drip. 15mins later, I can feel the contractions are here. I told hubby, I think I should be able to deliver around the same time as Chloe's birth time.

I had the slight urge to push, I asked hubby to call for help. The midwife came and checked my cervix, it's 4-5cm opened. She told me I had the urge to push cos the bb's head is very low, ask me not to push. If not bb's head might get stuck. How to control??? Can't remember how long after that, I asked for help again. This time my gynae came, he said I'm 5cm dilated, and said he won't be going off, he will be waiting at the hospital for me. He asked me if I need epidural anot, if yes this is the right timing to have. But I told him I still can bear with it.

The contractions were getting more and more unbearable. I really had the urge to push, midwife told me to take the gas to relieve the pain. After taking the gas for awhile, I feel that my mind is in a blank, it's like a piece of white paper. I feel that I'm in heaven, and wondered if I will just die halfway thru the labour. I pushed hard when the urge come. I took off the gas, told my hubby I can't really take instructions cos the gas is making me high. While pushing, I made sounds like "Ng...ng..". Really like trying hard to pass motion. And then, gynae came. Before he can do anything much, bb's out. Hubby said he saw blood bursting out and then gynae carried the bb with his hands.

I heard bb's cries.. and the PD came in.. she talked to hubby about the bb. Seems like bb got some birthmark and something, but I couldn't really hear clearly. Only heard the PD telling hubby that it's common.

Before gynae stitched up my wound, he gave me 2 jabs at the private part. I felt pain, let out an "OUCH". I think after 5 or 10mins, he gave me another 2 jabs. I "OUCH" again and the midwife asked me to take the gas again. After everything is over, while still in the delivery ward, the gynae congrats me. I can't control but tears were rolling down my eyes. I'm still suffering from the after labour effects.

Ohya.. Baby is named Schuyler (pronounced as Sky-ler), weighing 3.35kg at birth. Time taken for labour: 1.5hrs.
