Well.. it's time... it's time to break the news, and YES I'm pregnant! I know I should have announced it long ago once I know it. But I wanted to wait till I got the confirmation from my gynae. But the first scan in Nov didn't turn out to be a good piece of news. Gynae said my bb seems alot smaller as compared to the EDD. Either my menses was not accurate at the point of time OR bb is not growing well. That really sank my heart. Though I told myself not to worry so much, sometimes I just can't help thinking about the worst scenario.

Gynae didn't approve my taiwan trip as I was still in first trimester. But I still went for it, I don't care. I just want to enjoy myself before the bad news can come. Hubby support my decision. Anyway it would be troublesome if we want to postpone the trip -
1. Air tickets were purchased at 50% discount. Postpone dates means no more discount.
2. We have to pay adult fare for Chloe.
3. My tummy would be out and it will really be hard for me to carry Chloe.

Luckily my mum didn't object me in going Taiwan when she know about my pregnancy. But I think my mil would. So we decided not to tell her about our trip. Anyway if she know we are going for holiday, she will conclude that we are very rich. In her eyes, we are always very rich and my bil is always very poor. Ok I shall not elaborate on that.

Today I went for my 2nd scan. And everything turns out to be good. Bb is 12wks and corresponds with my EDD. Gynae said perhaps the during the previous scan, my bladder is empty so can't really detect the sac. For the next visit, I will need to go for blood test, I better make sure I had breakfast before I turn up for my gynae visit. Looking forward to my next visit, perhaps I will get to know the gender of my bb. :)
